Trench was born from a summer 100k race in Cornwall where the dew from the grass caused my feet to macerate. What followed was 4 months of experimenting until I took part in the MudCrew Arc of Attrition 100 mile winter ultra where I completed the distance with feet as fresh at the end as when they started. Trench then was offered to willing volunteers to trial in races around the world and some of the hardest in the UK with great success and feedback.
